The rock cellar, cut into the depths of the Hirschberg as a cool beer store, with corridors about 350 m long, was set up as a brewery museum with harvesting, brewing and bottling equipment to commemorate the 500-year tradition of the former prince-bishop's Eichstätt Hirschberg brewery, which closed in 1980.
