The Erich-Kästner Library (Erich Kästner Library) is like a visit to the writer. Here the sitting area, there the workstation with typewriter and glasses, even his suit hangs there. And of course: books, books, books.

The inventory of Kästner's Munich domicile is now in Oberschwarzach, where it has been reconstructed in parts as a small but very lively museum. The great thing is that, true to Kästner's motto "Everyone always remembers his childhood", everything here can be touched and tried out. So if you like, you can sit down in the cosy wing chair and browse or look at the world through Erich Kästner's glasses.
