300 years of hat history(s) to touch and put on: The Deutsches Hat Museum (German Hat Museum) presents familiar, interesting and curious facts about headwear. In the former Ottmar Reich hat factory, it tells the story of hard-working homeworkers, courageous hat traders and powerful manufacturers who made Lindenberg the "Little Paris" of hat fashion. Among other things, the Matelot, the cult hat of 1900, better known as the "circular saw", was produced here - over 4 million times! The whole world wore hats from Lindenberg. Just like the visitors to the museum, who can not only marvel at the colourful world of hat fashion through the centuries here, but also try it on for themselves to their heart's content. Or they can sit down in the factory cinema or discover famous hat wearers in the "Huttornado". With such diversity, one can only say: hats off!
