The industrial museum owes its peculiar name - "Bunker 29" - to its location: it is housed in an original, preserved building from the 1940 powder factory. In six small rooms, visitors can discover the history of the town and its industry since the founding of the gunpowder factory and learn about the rebuilding efforts of Waldkraiburg companies in the post-war period. One room shows the peaceful conversion of the bunkers after the end of the war, another deals with the new economic start using the example of a pump factory or allows visitors to experience the production of rubber through their sense of smell. After a detour to the production of sweets in the 1950s, the museum concludes with a look at the lively economic life in the district of Mühldorf and the region.
