The Amuseum, a play on the words "amusement" and "museum" as a reference to the typical sarcastic humour of street art, accompanies and documents the history and work of the international street art movement and is based on a long-standing collaboration between the art association Positive-Propaganda and pioneers such as Shepard Fairey, BLU and Mark Jenkins. Avant-garde exhibitions on socially relevant themes are developed in personal dialogue and in collaboration with the usually anonymous protagonists. The aim is to arouse interest in street art and art in general and to create a public space for dialogue and discourse. As a non-profit organisation, the Amuseum serves as a platform for preserving knowledge about the intentions, artistic work and history of the socially critical street art movement for future generations and making it permanently accessible to the general public.
