Stiftland Museum
Who still knows the old workshops of carpenters, shoemakers, saddlers or locksmiths? How did things used to be in the hat shop, the Kramer's or the hairdresser's? At the Stiftlandmuseum (Stiftlandmuseum), you can look around the largest collection of old workshops and craft equipment in the Upper Palatinate. But that's not all: a total of 54 departments, spread over 4 floors, tell the story of the region's history, of mining and porcelain, cots, homes and much more. The Chodauer Heimatstube is also a reminder of the town in the Egerland region, which was once inhabited by Germans. An excursion into the past, true to the motto: "Come in, time, stay still ..."
