Stadtmuseum Unterschleißheim (City Museum Unterschleißheim)
The fact that the Teuton Sliu gave Schleißheim its name is just one of the many local history topics at the Unterschleißheim Town Museum. The chronologically structured permanent exhibition shows archaeological finds from the Neolithic period onwards, rural objects and documents relating to the town's history. The town history section uses selected objects to present the origins of Unterschleißheim, starting with the first finds from Roman times, through Unterschleißheim as a farming village to the town's elevation in 2000. In the art section, the Graf Collection shows the view of artists on Unterschleißheim.
