"It is an infinite cross to make glass" is an old saying. All the more impressive are the products from Neustadt a. d. Waldnaab, which is also called "The City of Lead Crystal". The eyes can recover from so much splendour in the glass department of the Stadtmuseum (Neustadt City Museum) by taking a look at the black smokehouse before continuing on the discovery tour through town history, crafts and popular piety in Neustadt from the 16th to the 19th century.
