Staatsgalerie in der Residenz Ansbach (State Gallery in the Ansbach Residence)
In the historic gallery rooms of the Ansbach Residence Palace, the State Gallery presents works from the European Baroque and Rococo periods. While a picture cabinet is reserved for the court painters who lived in the Residenz Ansbach (Johann Christian Sperling, Friedrich Gotthard Naumann), paintings from the Flemish, Dutch and French schools of the 17th and 18th centuries are shown in the "Grande Galerie" (including works by Frederik Bouttats, Jan Fyt, Ludolf Backhuysen, Jan van Ravesteyn, Jean-Baptiste Le Prince, Joseph Vernet).
