The Schafhof in Freising offers a unique exhibition context: situated on a hill and surrounded by nature and trees, the massive building complex impresses with its history and architecture. Originally used as a sheepfold, the Schafhof now serves as a European artists' centre for the district of Upper Bavaria. A wide variety of artistic expressions of European and regional culture are presented here. The impressive barrel vault on the upper floor creates a special atmosphere and impressively showcases contemporary works.
