In the middle of the picturesque old town of Fladungen, the Rhönmuseum (Rhön Museum) is located in the historic Amtshaus (built in 1628).The regional museum can look back on a 100-year history and has extensive cultural and natural history collections whose significance extends far beyond the borders of the Rhön. After extensive renovation and realignment of the overall concept, the new Rhönmuseum (Rhön Museum) (expected to reopen in 2023) presents the Rhön in all its diversity on four levels.
