Pfarrmuseum (Parish Museum)
Flintsbach is the original parish of the Bavarian Inn Valley. From its long history dating back to the 10th century, many valuable figures, paintings and liturgical utensils, books, flags and vestments have been preserved and can now be seen in the Pfarrmuseum (Parish Museum). The collection also includes archaeological finds, especially from the Urnfield period (around 1100 BC), medieval crossbow bolts, skeletons, relics and glasses, as well as many pilgrimage souvenirs from Petersberg. Another theme is the Counts of Falkenstein, who sat in their castles above the village in the 11th-13th centuries. The replica of the "Codex Falkensteinensis" from the 12th century provides a glimpse into their possessions, contracts, donations and also the taxes paid by their subjects.
