Visitors to the Archaeology Museum Upper Franconia (Archaeology Museum Upper Franconia) embark on a fascinating journey into the Franconian past from the Stone Age to the early modern era. Over 600 cult objects, weapons, jewellery, tools, everyday objects and building fragments on two floors bear witness to the cultural wealth of the region. Separate areas are dedicated to the themes of the "royal palatinate" and the "economic development of Upper Franconia", from medieval leather crafts to the beginnings of glass production and porcelain manufacture.
