Museum Tegernseer Tal (Museum Tegernsee Valley)
How was the Tegernsee valley formed? What was life like in the Benedictine monastery over the course of 1000 years? What did the Wittelsbachs do here? The Museum Tegernseer Tal (Museum Tegernsee Valley) answers these and many other questions. It provides information about art and culture in one of the most traditional areas of Old Bavaria and shows that the region has much more to offer than just its beautiful landscape. In its large folklore section, traditional costumes, furniture and everyday artefacts allow visitors to trace the history of the valley from the cradle to the grave.
