Modern and contemporary art in a historical setting: In an old town house of Romanesque origin, the Museum of Modern Art presents works from its collection of 20th and 21st century art in changing exhibitions. The core of the collection is the estate of the painter Georg Philipp Wörlen and numerous works from the artist communities "Der Fels" and "Donau-Wald-Gruppe". The more recent collection includes names such as Fritz Wotruba, Lothar Fischer, Arnulf Rainer, Sandro Chia, Alfred Hrdlicka and Günther Uecker as well as numerous artists from the region.
