Important information:
The museum named after him houses the artistic estate of Lothar Fischer (1933-2004), one of the most important German sculptors of the post-war period. It can thus present works from all his creative phases. The architecture of the house, which was created in close collaboration between the artist and the architect, also contributes significantly to the overall impression. A special exhibition programme with works ranging from classical modernism to contemporary art makes the Haus der Kunst (House of art) a lively, supra-regional art forum.
