Where today the Immenstadt Museum displays its exhibits from the founding of the town in 1360 to the computer age, electricity was once generated and industrial history was written: For a while, the Hofmühle was the most powerful mill in the district of Swabia. Now a wide variety of questions related to the city are answered there: Who were the Probsts? What is the connection between the Persian empress Soraja and Immenstadt? The exhibition covers topics such as "knights and castles", "life on the water" or traditional costumes. The town's trade and economy are also put under the microscope.
