The museum displays its collection of objects relating to local history - "Feringer Sach" - in changing exhibitions in a former cinema hall. Topics include everyday life, church and customs, crafts and schools, as well as stories from the old Unterföhring. The museum also includes a historic locksmith's workshop at Münchner Straße 74 and a depot at Gaußstraße 10.
