Mikrokosmos Cronheim (Cronheim Microcosm) - one village, three religions
Protestant, Catholic and Jewish citizens lived together in Cronheim for around 300 years until 1938. The museum in Cronheim Castle is attached to a therapy centre run by the Workers' Welfare Association. It shows the eventful history of the village and its religious communities. On display are traditional costumes of both denominations and Judaica, but also a farmhouse parlour from the 19th century. In addition, models of synagogues from Bavaria can be viewed in the model construction department of the therapy centre.
