Lettl's surreal paintings and imaginative inventions invite us to immerse ourselves in a world in which reality is questioned and new realities are created. Lettl plays with fantasy as a symbol for the hidden forces within us and wants to invite participation and recognition. By questioning reality, Lettl creates new realities beyond the surface of things. Dreams and fantasy are not disenchanted, but on the contrary are elevated to tangible, unheard-of new realities.
