The Kunsthaus Kaufbeuren, located in a remarkable new building in the historic centre of Kaufbeuren, presents a wide variety of exhibitions on 20th century art and cultural-historical themes. From individual presentations of internationally renowned artists to thematic and historical exhibitions and young contemporary art, the Kunsthaus offers a broad spectrum. One of the highlights is the Horst Janssen Collection. The Kunsthaus also offers its own educational programme, which introduces children to the exhibitions and places particular emphasis on creative design.
