The little woman smiles friendly, almost mischievously. You want to smile back, but wait: this is a deceptively lifelike replica based on a 7,000-year-old skeleton. The Stone Age woman called "Lisar" is at the centre of the permanent exhibition on the Neolithic Age, where original objects, pictures and replicas to touch bring to life this greatest period of change in human history to date. Again and again, parallels to our world today are shown, because the museum also wants to encourage reflection on responsible and sustainable living through the interweaving of past and present.
