People have been settling in the Unterhaching municipal area for over 4500 years. This is proven by finds from the Neolithic Age to the Bavarian period, which are presented in the local history museum. Models show the early Celtic village and Unterhaching at the time of Napoleon. Agricultural and household tools, a cobbler's workshop and other crafts are also on display.
