Links between Röhrnbach and Kaltenbach in the Bohemian Forest have existed since the 18th century. After the war, displaced Kaltenbach residents found a new home in Röhrnbach. The HEIMAT.MUSEUM displays old equipment and artefacts from both villages. The aim is to provide a space for the homeland in general, to remember the injustice of the expulsion and to express rapprochement and reconciliation.
