The history of Markt Schwaben (Museum of local history Markt Schwaben) is presented in many different ways. Fourteen different rooms illustrate the history of the village from prehistory and early history to the year 2000: Stone Age grave constructions as well as Schwaben as a court seat, local handicrafts and traditional costumes as well as old views of the village or a "country school". Finally, the originally furnished "Poststüberl" bears witness to the local brewing tradition.
