The local history of Wiggensbach and the living conditions of earlier times are at the centre of the museum of local history: clearing, settlement, the castle period and the Peasants' War, as well as unification and relations with the prince abbey of Kempten. Valuable artefacts from the Gothic, Baroque and Rococo periods, evidence of popular piety, a farmhouse parlour, household items, old agricultural tools and local craftsmanship illustrate the themes presented in the museum.
