Heimathaus Lauingen (Home House Lauingen)
The Heimathaus Lauingen (Home House Lauingen) is considered the oldest municipal collection in Bavaria. Today, the former St. Agnes monastery houses finds and art objects that bear witness to the city's more than 200 years of collecting efforts. In addition to the first human traces in the region from the Old, Middle and New Stone Ages and objects documenting the history of the town, folk art and customs in Lauening are also a theme here. A separate section is dedicated to the church teacher Albertus Magnus, who was born in Lauingen.
