The Haus der Kunst (House of Art) is developing rapidly. As a global centre for contemporary art, it focuses on collaboration with living artists and sets new standards to re-evaluate the art historical canon. The transdisciplinary, transnational and intergenerational approach weaves the programme points into a continuous narrative and creates a new context to better understand the increasingly digitalised world. Haus der Kunst aims to take a leading role in exploring the digital transformation and its impact on the arts. The programme highlights the visionary practices of artists of the recent past by connecting them with the experiments of the present. Cross-project connections and new exhibition formats create a dialogue with the public.
