The collection of the Hallertau Hops and Local History Museum includes, among other things, the typical handicraft tools of the hop farmers of earlier times, a cobbler's shop, a grocer's shop and a blacksmith's shop, but also a palaeontological section and archaeological finds. Another focus is on regional costumes.

Until it has found a new permanent home, the collection of the Hop and Local History Museum is exhibited on a somewhat reduced scale (without prehistory and early history) in Augsburger Straße.
