The Kunsthalle Augsburg (formerly H2 – The Center for Contemporary Art) on the ground floor of the Glaspalast is Augsburg's municipal museum for modern and contemporary art. Changing special exhibitions and collection presentations on 20th century art as well as contemporary art from a regional, national and international context are shown in two halls (H1 and H2) on an area totaling 2,700 square meters. Regular public guided tours and exhibition-accompanying events such as concerts, readings, artist talks or panel discussions complement the program. The museum is directed by Jan T. Wilms.
