Garnisonmuseum (Garrison Museum)
Behind the 2.40 m thick, steel-armoured concrete walls of a former high bunker from 1941, the Garrison Museum (Garrison Museum) presents its exhibition on Nuremberg's garrison history. The exhibition ranges from the times of the imperial city's military to the Royal Bavarian Army to the presence of US forces and the German Armed Forces up to the 1990s, whereby the social relations between the citizens and the stationed soldiers are also illuminated. The lives and experiences of soldiers over the centuries are illustrated with the help of large dioramas.
