Freilandmuseum Grassemann (Grassemann Open Air Museum)
Important information:
The Schwärzer-Haus, a single ridge farm dating from 1698 with living quarters, stable and barn under one roof, was once typical of the southern Fichtelgebirge. The property with its "black kitchen" built in 1760 provides an insight into everyday life and living on a small low mountain farm.An educational trail starting from the museum shows the development of the cultural landscape and the history of the Grassemann clearing island.
