Dorfmuseum im Pfannerhaus (Village museum in the Pfannerhaus)
Three important Roßhaupten personalities represent the history of the village in the Dorfmuseum im Pfannerhaus (Village museum in the Pfannerhaus): the lute maker Caspar Tiefenbrucker, the Baroque master builder Johann Jakob Herkomer and the sculptor Roman Anton Boos. Other focal points include the once important local artificial flower industry, old village crafts and the construction of the Forggensee dam. A separate section commemorates the Sudeten Germans who dared to make a new start in Roßhaupten after their expulsion, while the permanent exhibition "Small Worlds" displays over 2000 models of the history of technology on a scale of 1:87 and an information centre is dedicated to the Roman trade route Via Claudia Augusta, which runs past the village and also displays Alemannic and Stone Age finds.
