Burgmuseum Parsberg (Parsberg Castle Museum)
Important information:
High above the town of Parsberg rises a picturesque castle complex whose construction history goes back to the 13th century. Here, the Parsberg Castle Museum (Burgmuseum Parsberg) presents objects on the specific geology of the region and the development of the town up to the present day, on handicrafts and textiles, household goods and the world of faith, art and artists. The historical department "From Bismarck to Hitler" occupies an entire floor. In a variety of ways, it not only tells the story of the German Empire from its founding to the end of the Second World War, but at the same time illuminates its respective effects on the region by means of individual examples.
