Falkenberg Castle can look back on a thousand years of eventful history, but one name in particular has left its mark on history: Friedrich Werner Graf von der Schulenburg, who acquired the castle in the 1930s. On their tour of the MuseumBurg, visitors learn about the eventful life of the count, who fought for peace as German ambassador to Russia and was murdered by the Nazis as a co-conspirator of 20 July 1944.
