Bandkeramik-Museum Schwanfeld (Band Ceramics Museum Schwanfeld)
Schwanfeld is considered to be the oldest village in Germany, as excavations have uncovered the remains of an approximately 7500-year-old settlement dating back to the Linear Pottery period, the oldest farming culture of the Neolithic Age. In addition to the original finds such as flint stone tools, clay cult figurines and vessels, other exhibits, images, texts and media documents as well as interactive and audio stations offer insights into the lives of our ancestors.
