The old farmhouse in Sonthofen in the Allgäu, with its historic centre dating back to 1555, has been extended by a purist, modern annex. In the permanent exhibition you can see how parents, children and grandparents used to live in a "Mitterstallhaus". Radio plays in dialect create a cosy and authentic atmosphere. There are also smelling stations and even a toboggan simulator.
