Crafts afternoon for our younger visitors at the museum
Location: Archäologisches Museum der Stadt Kelheim (Archaeological Museum of the City of Kelheim)
The Kelheim Archaeological Museum is home to many fascinating treasures just waiting to be discovered. On Sunday afternoon, as part of the ‘Winterzeit – MuseumsZeit’ programme organised by the museums in the Altmühltal Nature Park, children will join Dr Aaltje Hidding in searching for buried treasures within the museum. Afterwards, they will recreate the original finds using various materials.
The event, which lasts around an hour, starts at 2.00 pm; the meeting point is at the museum ticket office.
In the meantime, mums, dads, grandmas and grandads can take the opportunity to view the exhibition or enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee or tea.
