Sunday, 25 October 2026, 11:00 - 17:00

Art in the Kastenhof

Location: Kastenhof Landau - Museum für Steinzeit und Gegenwart (Museum of the Stone Age and Present Day)

Entry: free

The Catholic Women’s Association of Landau am Isar, the Kastenhof Landau – Museum of the Stone Age and the Present Day, and the Friends of the Lower Bavarian Archaeological Museum e.V. invite you to the Autumn Market at the Kastenhof.

On Sunday, 25 October 2026, from 11.00 am, numerous market stalls will be showcasing their craftsmanship. Whether it’s handmade jewellery, autumn decorations, clothing, or wooden or metal artworks – there’s something to suit every taste! A list of participating stalls can be found below.

During the market, the Women’s Association will be running a coffee and cake stall and offering homemade chilli con carne and vegetable stew. The Friends of the Lower Bavarian Archaeological Museum will be selling drinks. Admission to the museum is free.

At 2 pm, the Sommersprosse Puppet Theatre will be performing the play ‘The Treasure in the Mill – A Robber’s Adventure’ for our younger guests. Tickets for the show cost €8 per person.

Visitors can get creative themselves in the museum workshop: between 12 noon and 2 pm and 3 pm and 5 pm, we’ll be making colourful magnets out of Fimo! Eva Lohse from the Hinterhoftheater will be helping visitors make little fabric ghosts from 1 pm to 5 pm.

We look forward to seeing you there!
