: Themed tour: On treadmills and buffoons
Saturday, 03 October 2026, 11:00 - 12:15
How the Middle Ages are reflected in everyday language
Location: Cadolzburg (Cadolzburg Castle)
Anyone who is gripped by ‘last-minute panic’ and feels ‘as if on a treadmill’ sometimes even has to put up with being called a ‘fool’ by those around them. It’s good when someone ‘steps into the breach’ for them and they aren’t ‘left in the lurch’!
A tour of Cadolzburg Castle reveals the origins of well-known idioms, sayings and proverbs, and you’ll find some surprising explanations.
Booking: Tel. 09103 70086-21 or burg-cadolzburg@bsv.bayern.de
