How did the Hohenzollerns rule, sleep and fight 600 years ago? This and much more is shown in the exhibition "HerrschaftsZeiten! The Cadolzburg Experience". One of the mightiest castle complexes in Bavaria offers a journey back in time to the Middle Ages on around 1,500 m² of exhibition space. Original objects, elaborate reproductions, displays and media stations allow visitors to experience various facets of life in a stately castle with all their senses and even get active themselves in many places. The exhibition dares to bridge the gap between the Middle Ages and modern times and shows where the supposedly distant Middle Ages are actually very close to us - and vice versa.
