Illschwang was once one of the smallest hop-growing areas in Germany. Today, a wooden barn houses the Hopfenmuseum (Hop Museum). Tools, pictures and documents tell the story of hop cultivation and processing. The people of Illschwang are particularly proud of the original hop press. The museum also has a hop garden. The sights of Illschwang can be explored along a circular trail marked with the hop umbel.
