The "Hersbrucker Gebirge" hop region, one of the oldest hop-growing regions in Germany, has its own museum: the Fränkisches Hopfenmuseum (Franconian Hop Museum) shows how hops are grown, cared for and harvested, as well as the inventive spirit of the farmers. The museum's centrepiece is the world's first hop-picking machine from 1900.
