Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum (Bavarian Railway Museum)
Experience nostalgia on rails at full steam in Nördlinger Ries. In and around the historic halls of the Nördlingen railway depot, which was built in 1849, the Bavarian Railway Museum (Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum e. V.) exhibits over 250 original vehicles, locomotives and carriages, mainly from the first half of the 20th century. On the railway lines from Nördlingen to Donauwörth (Donau-Ries-Express) and Gunzenhausen (Seenland-Express), an extensive programme of trips with steam, electric and diesel locomotives is offered.
