The second instalment of the diorama series now focuses on the Roman army. Across 15 models, ‘Rome’s Armies – World Power of Antiquity’ comes to life, depicting with an enormous attention to detail battles against rebellious Celts, soldiers building roads, and even the honouring of a distinguished warrior. For the Roman army was more than just a powerful conquering force. It was a world unto itself, working as a construction force on public buildings and roadworks, and ensuring law and order in the provinces.
