Tonyversum
With the Bavarian State Exhibition “Music in Bavaria”, running from 25 April to 8 November 2026 at the TonYversum in Freyung, the House of Bavarian History, in collaboration with the town of Freyung, is presenting a festival of Bavarian sounds, rhythms and melodies.
Following the conclusion of the “Music in Bavaria” exhibition, the TonYversum will open its doors permanently in Freyung town centre in the summer of 2027.
The TonYversum is a hands-on exhibition for curious visitors of all ages. An exciting journey into the world of sound, music and hearing awaits you. Here you can discover, get involved and experience! Explore interactively how sounds are created, how our hearing works and what mathematics and physical phenomena have to do with music. Or you can finally find out who in your family can scream the loudest! Whether you’re experimenting, marvelling or simply listening – at TonYversum, knowledge comes to life and brings the invisible world of sound within reach.
