Positive Propaganda - A Decade of Visual Resistance

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the non-profit Kunstverein München (Munich Art Association) Positive-Propaganda, the Amuseum invites you to the group exhibition "Positive-Propaganda - A Decade of Visual Resistance" and at the same time celebrates a decade of street art in Munich with you!

On display are a variety of elaborate screen prints and collage works, original paintings and drawings as well as sculptures and video works by the artists. What began as a small idea has been attracting international attention in the art world since 2015 at the latest. Since its foundation, the non-profit Kunstverein München (Munich Art Association) Positive-Propaganda has succeeded in realising more than 30 high-calibre murals and interventions in public spaces as well as a dozen exhibition projects in Munich.

The majority of the works realised in public spaces have since become popular landmarks and an integral part of Munich's cityscape, making Munich the Mecca of the international street art movement. With the Amuseum - the first museum of the street art movement - the Kunstverein set another milestone in 2022.

As part of the group exhibition, which was developed together with the artists BLU, ERICAILCANE, ESCIF, FAILE, INVADER, NONÅME, Mark Jenkins, SKULLPHONE and Shepard Fairey, you can see a variety of elaborate screen prints and collage works, original paintings and drawings as well as sculptures and video works by the art activists.
