Event: Garden explorers

Sunday, 11 October 2026, 14:00 - 16:00

Autumnal hidden object picture

Location: Museum der Gartenkultur (Museum of garden culture)

Entry: free

At the Museum of Garden Culture, the garden becomes a space for experiences. Here, children learn how all life is interconnected: from earthworms in the soil to insects in the air and water to the community in the flowerbed. Once a month on a Sunday, the garden explorers invite visitors to an open event, which usually lasts two hours. Here, they discover, build, research and design – partly as a family activity, partly specifically for children. At the same time, adults have the opportunity to take part in open garden tours. On Sunday, 11 October 2026, young garden explorers will create an autumnal hidden object picture. A hands-on activity for children aged 6 to 12. Participation is free of charge. Registration required.

About the activity: We will roam through the gardens and the forest looking for beautiful things that each child can use to create a hidden object picture. Let's see if Mum or Dad can also figure out what the children have collected.
