Sunday, 09 August 2026, 14:30 - 16:30
Summer holidays at the Stone Age Museum
Location: Kastenhof Landau - Museum für Steinzeit und Gegenwart (Museum of the Stone Age and Present Day)
Open Workshop: ‘Stone Age Cuisine’
During the summer holidays, we’re running open workshops every Sunday. On 9 August 2026, visitors will be immersed in the culinary world of the first farmers. We’ll grind flour on the hand-cranked mill, churn butter and make soft cheese in just a few minutes. Sparks will also fly as we try our hand at making fire the Stone Age way.
The workshop starts at 2.30 pm, 3.00 pm, 3.30 pm and 4.00 pm. No booking is required.
Materials fee: €2 per person
