Location: Start: Wemding, Parkplatz am Johannisweiher
As part of the exhibition “On the Edge of the Crater – Swabian-Franconian Townscapes by Albert Meyer-Gröbenzell”, visitors will be taken to the locations featured in his Wemdingen paintings. The artist’s granddaughter, Ruth Besimo-Meyer, and her husband, Christian Besimo, will recount stories from the artist’s life at selected locations in the old town. Museum guide Helga Holzinger-Hilt will share anecdotes and historical facts about the hometown of Albert Meyer’s wife, Centa (née Schneid).
